More swapped inchies.

These are the rest of the inchies I swapped on Craftster in the last inchie swap.

The map with the heart is one of my favorites. I found a map of Georgia in my basement. I have no idea where it came from, as I used to live in South Carolina, but I never traveled to Georgia. So, I cut it up!
The cactus is a piece of confetti. I got the pack for 50 cents at Big Lots and was surprised when I actually found a use for some of it. I love the idea of a button moon!

Recognize the coral under the fish? It's cut-up cacti confetti!

I love that little girl. I printed a bunch of images out while my printer was messed up, so a lot of my ladies turned out green.

I wish I had darkened the edges of the yellow inchie.

I was making sushi inchies when I had the great idea to make chopsticks out of toothpicks! This is one of my favorite inchies ever. I really like the heart one too.

The paint brush is another one I'm proud of. I have quite a few little plastic charms and very few ideas on how to use them. This one turned out perfectly!

Swapping Inchies

These are some of the inchies I made for the last inchie swap on Craftster.

My owl was done with a stamp I got from the dollar area at AC Moore. The fish sticker came in a book of them I got at Big Lots. Most of the stickers aren't inchie sized, but they'll be good for scrapbooking if I ever get around to it and I can always swap them.

Before there were altered puzzle pieces, there were puzzle piece inchies! I saw some on an old old post on Craftster and bought my own 500 piece puzzle at the thrift store to play around with.

Quarrelsome? Get it? Like "crabby?"

The blue background for this puzzle piece was made by Sinjah, whom I swapped inchies with this summer.

I'm ready for another round!

4 Little Inchies

I haven't posted anything in awhile because of school and work. I made a few inchies today to
a)get in the autumnal spirit,
b) experiment with the bird stamp I carved from an eraser and
c) to play with crayons.

I think the pumpkin needs a little more pop, and my bird stamp could use some work. I am really excited about how my leaf turned out though!
I wish I had more time to craft. I forgot how much fun it is to make these!

My First Personal Swap

A few months back I did my first personal swap on Craftster with Bewara. We agreed to make 4 inchies for each other since we were both new to them.
Here is what she sent to me.

Can you say "extras?" Since I was new to swapping I didn't realize that its pretty normal for Craftsters to spoil each other so much. I know now, trust me!

My umbrella punch has since bitten the dust. I miss it so much! I keep checking the Dollar Stores for another one but I haven't had any luck. I've tried to fix it, but I think it's a lost cause.

Messy Inchies

It's always been hard for me to be a neat person, but I find it especially challenging when it comes to my craft area. I guess it's no surprise that an area that looks like this tends to produce some messy works of art.

Here are some inchies that I made for a swap, but turned out too sloppy to send.

The Dutch girl came out of a Disney It's A Small World book.

I really love this one! I didn't want to part with it, but I sent it to Greece in a personal swap on Craftster.

I was opening a bottle of wine at work one day and noticed how nice this foil topper is. I put it in my pocket to take home, and this inchie was born. It's a nice cabernet, too.

I've since saved all the foil tops from wine bottles, but this one is definitely the nicest I've come across.
I've got lots more inchies coming since I'm making 49 of them for a swap, so keep your eyes open!

I just joined my second inchies swap on Craftster, and I'm really excited. Mine are certainly going to be a lot different this time around.
These are my framed inchies from my very first swap:

We made 50 inchies, kept five for ourselves and then sent 5 to 9 more people. Some of my partners sent extras, and we had a flaker, so the number I framed is off. I finally got my angel inchies though so I might take the inchies I made out of the frame.
